Aleili is an inspirational teacher with over 30 year’s experience of movement therapy practice. Her attention to detail, the nurturing of each student and joyful teaching skills have made her one of the North West’s most popular instructor and performer. This workshop is appropriate for all ages, body types and levels of dance skill! Demonstrations will be in water base media. We will work on location at two farms located in Fall City WA. The focus will be on learning to interpret the landscape site in terms of a simplified and strong composition, learning to edit, to combine, and see patterns and connections. Also, I will show techniques useful to paint in the outdoors in a limited time and changing environment. We will explore ways to use the local color of a particular place and to organize it into a manageable color scheme. I will discuss the "nitty gritty" of working on site and techniques for working in the hot, the cold, the snow, the wet, and whatever.
