Fall City Day - June 11th

Fall City Day has been a community tradition for 45 years!
With the Fun Run, Lions Club Car Show, parade, watermelon-eating contest, Ducky Derby, Firefighters Dunk Tank, live music, local artists in action and a kids painting station, it's fun for the whole family!

Shakespeare in the Park - July 29th & August 5th
Fall City Park - 4199 Fall City-Carnation Rd SE Fall City, WA 98024

Get ready for another summer filled with family fun and theater in the great outdoors at Fall City Park. GreenStage celebrates its 28th season with Shakespeare in the Park featuring Cymbeline and The Merry Wives of Windsor!

Cymbeline - July 29th at 7pm
Pity poor Imogen! Her dad, King Cymbeline, banishes her love Posthumus from the kingdom because he wants her to marry royally and produce a proper heir. The Queen, her stepmother, wants her own son Cloten to marry her and plots to kill both Imogen and Cymbeline in a power grab. Posthumus, in Italy, makes a really dumb bet that leads to lots of trouble. Palace intrigue, treachery, murder plots, and deception challenge the characters of Cymbeline who, with the help of two surprise players, overcome mistrust and jealousy to live happily ever after. Except the Queen and Cloten, who as bad guys get what they deserve.

The Merry Wives of Windsor - August 5th at 7pm
Sir John Falstaff arrives in Windsor somewhat short on cash, and decides his best remedy for the situation is to marry a rich woman. He sets about courting the married Mistress Ford and Mistress Page, sending identical letters to each. The merry wives quickly figure out Falstaff’s game, and while they’re not at all interested in his advances, they lead him on in order to play a series of jokes and indignities on him. Meanwhile, three suitors compete for the hand of Page’s daughter, Anne. Who will win? And what of the others in this tale of love and marriage, jealousy and revenge?

Shakespeare in the Park
- July 31st & August 7th
Fall City Park - 4199 Fall City-Carnation Rd SE Fall City, WA 98024

Bring a picnic, blanket and your friends and family over to the Fall City Park for our annual summer event of Shakespeare in the Park.

The Two Noble Kinsman - July 31st at 7pm
The Two Noble Kingsman is essentially an adaption of Chaucer's "Knight's Tale".  In this story, the two kinsmen are Palamon and Arcite; they are captured while fighting for Thebes against Athens.  While imprisoned, the two cousins find themselves attracted to Emilia, who is the sister of Hippolyta, wife of Thesesus.  Their professed "eternal friendship" takes a beating as the two vow to woo her.  The play continues with intrigue, action and love triangles.  The ending has an unexpected twist that may get some "aahs" from the audience and will surely create conversation!

Much Ado About Nothing - August 7th at 7pm
Don Pedro, Prince of Arragon, pays a visit to Leonata, the governor of Messina, while returning from a victorious campaign against his rebellious brother, Don John.  Accompanying him are two of his officers, Benedick and Claudio.  While in Messina, Claudio falls for Leonata's daughter Hero, and Benedick verbally spars with the governor's niece, Beatrice.  The trickery begins as Don Pedro and Hero, separately and purposefully, try to confuse the lovers.  Craziness ensues as plots are planned and foiled.  The play ends on a happy note making this Shakespeare comedy one of the favorites.
